The Beach

Today is our second day in Fort Morgan, Alabama. It's been mostly cloudy and raining here and there, but who cares?? We're here and we're having a wonderful time! Yesterday morning we went to the beach--in the rain (no thunder/lightning). Tanner rounded the corner and saw the big waves! He looked at me and said, "BEEEEEEACH!"
We walked down to the water and let the waves tickle our toes. (He wasn't too impressed at first with the sand. He kept saying, "ewww, dirty, momma!") We walked out a little further into the waves and let the waves hit us. He tightened his grip on my hand, but I kept reassuring him that we were ok and that this was fun! He looked up at me and smiled...right as another wave hit him in the face! hahaha! What a look he gave me! But just as quickly at he glared at me, a smile came across his face and he said again, "Beeeeeach!!" We then went to play in the sand! YaY sand! He loved it! He loved burying our feet in the sand and then wiping them clean! We had to pack up early as the rain came down harder. But then again, Tanner LOVES rain! He laughed all the way back to the house! We got home, and the poor little guy was freezing! So, after a warm bath, we snuggled up...and he fell asleep. The little man was exhausted, because he slept 2.5 hours! Never fear though, He woke up WILD and raring to go!
We played the rest of the day...shopped ALOT, and played some more!

Who knows what the rest of this day will hold. Rest! Play! Beach! Swimming! who knows!?!
