Wow! What a Week!

This past week most definately goes down as an emotionally charged busy week!

This week, we FINALLY welcomed the much anticipated arrival of my niece/Tanner's cousin, Amelia!
She's healthy and absolutely beautiful! Tanner wasn't too sure about her, but he quickly got used to her and wanted to give her some kisses! He soon started saying, "Momma, Amelia!"

Friday was our Adoption Day!!!

We rushed home from work and quickly got ready for our court appearance!
We were escorted inside and of course Tanner and I were first! He was already riled up (missed his nap!), so I pretty much knew this was going to be a time to remember! We got up on the stand and I started answering the questions. Tanner must not have been too happy with my answers, because right in the middle of it, he started ummmm, freaking out?!?
The court reporter said she couldn't hear...so we had to stop for a bit to calm down. The sweet Judge reached under his desk and said, "Here's a teddy bear, Tanner!" That was perfect! Tanner kissed and hugged that cute little bear!
Pictures were taken, and little speeches given, papers were filed and given. We walked out of the court--hand in hand, enjoying the spring breeze--mother and son....perfect.
