I was checking a few other blogs today, when I stumbled across my own blog. I stared at the ticker that was quickly counting away. It's been 110 days since our G & R!! oh my gosh. Time has sure flown by!! He's walking now...has been for a little over a month now...no stopping him now! His vocabulary is growing by the minute! He now weighs 20 lbs--though he looks bigger to me...but then again, he's pretty tall for his age, I think.
At 'school', he's been coloring and finger painting. So, I've taken that cue to get our very own colors and paints at home...and he loves them!!! With every color that he uses, he gets so excited and is so proud of himself that he yells "YAY, MOMMA!!" and claps and giggles! I wish I had a video camera--perhaps mounted to my head, to document all these totally cute moments!!
One of the blogs I've been following, that family is in Vietnam to get their son. They're there for Tet! Looking at her pictures, makes me think back to a few months ago--though the place looks so different due to Tet. But, nonetheless, I keep thinking about when I was there to get Tanner. Though, at the time I was so overwhelmed with everything...EVERYTHING--I can look back and think that perhaps, under different circumstances, I'd probably go back again...and take the time to ENJOY his birth country. I never thought I'd see the day that I'd actually see myself typing this, let alone say it out loud....but...I'd really would like to go back....*sigh*
Hurry home Lisa, Scott and Eli!!!

I SO agree. I wish I had enjoyed the two months I spent in VN with my Oscar. Now, I just want to go back to do all that I avoided while I was waiting for my I-600 approval.
