Last night was....ummmm...OMG, I'm REALLY a mommy!
I gave Tanner his bottle at 9pm, and he was asleep by 9:30!
Of course, I layed down at around 2:30am, thinking..."any minute now, he's going to want a bottle! That child was plain and simple exhausted!!! He woke up (actually, I did the waking) at 7:30! I was amazed, surprised, whatever you want to call it, I was!
Snug as a Bug in a Rug!!!
Today, we did the whole 'getting the passport', medical check...on and on.... After all of that, we HAD to go to the Tax Center for some formula, cereal, and cookies for my little man!
Yes, it was raining...HARD...but Angela, me, and Tanner braved...successfully, I might add, the traffic, did what we needed to do, and returned "home".
BATHTIME! still not a big hit, but who could blame him for cryin a bit. He had been such a wonderful baby today, with all the draggin here and there, I did. THEN, a bath? He LOVED his new bottle and cereal...and got full! He decided that he was full 3/4 into the bottle! I held him for a few minutes until I saw his precious eyes grow heavy, the snuggled him up in his blankets and 'boggin' and away to dreamland he went! *sigh* I'm the lucky one...

So nice to hear everything is going good! Take care and can't wait to see Tanner and his Momma at home!
Wow!! Your trip is going fast!!
Hi Kelly. Am so happy you and Tanner are together at last!! He looks so handsome in the photos. Am also thrilled you are blogging even though I know you are busy and exhausted all at once. Keep it coming...Tanner's fans are waiting for each new tidbit. Am proud of you and Angela for braving the traffic and rain. Don't stay inside for one minute if you can help it.Experience all you can! oh and if you want to skips baths Tanner's skin will probably thank you. They aren't used to bathing let alone having one often. If you feel you have to bathe him and a sponge bath isn't enough for you maybe one in the sink in the bathroom wouldn't scare him. that way he can look in the mirror...just remembering Livvy's experiences in the first few weeks. Hope the rain goes away and you get to sight see...love and hugs. Kimberly Alls
