An Update

This past week, I was able to talk to Jynger (recently back from her trip to Vietnam/visiting with all the kiddos.)
She called me mid morning on Tuesday! I couldn't get to my phone quick enough! We got right down to business....

Me: "What's my angel like, Jynger??"
Jynger: "He's absolutely precious! I was only able to hold him for about 30 seconds before he decided I looked funny, smelled
funny, and sounded really funny! The only person he wanted then was his nanny!"

~nervous laugh~

Me: "Did you happen to see how many teeth he has?"
Jynger: "Welllllll, ummm, no actually! He WAS NOT gonna smile AT ALL--hence the most serious look on his face. I even had
people standing behind me making funny faces and funny noises in hopes of him cracking a smile! It wasn't
happening!

~nervous laugh~

Jynger: "You'll have bunches of those smiles coming your way, once he's in your arms, Kelly!!"

I was so thankful to have a first hand account of Tanner! I just can't hardly wait to see him for myself!

Jynger also told me that hopefully by mid September that I'll have an idea on whether or not DNA will be done. C'mon September 19th! (my guess)

I'm still hoping and praying for an October travel! Whether or not it'll happen, God only knows!!

Today is a special day. It's Grandparents day! What does one get 'first-time' grandparents from a grandchild that isn't quite here yet!? I came up with an idea, and the grandparents loved it....they displayed it proudly!
I ...errrr...Tanner wrote a letter to his Grandparents: "My Bestest Poppa and Nanna...." " I can't wait to go to Razorback games and Cardinals games with you..." " I love you Poppa!" "I can't wait to snuggle with you and give you bunches of sugars, Nanna!!"

Heck, I even cried as I was framing it up for them! I read it as if he really did write it! Even though he's not physically here yet with us, he's SO with us in our hearts!

Tuesday, September 9th, Tanner will be 9 months old! I can't believe that I've known and loved him for 5 months now! Time really has flown by when I just sit down and think about it! 5...F-I-V-E months ago today I was matched with my little man! It seems like yesterday!...The day time stood still! Happy 9 month birthday, Tanner!!!
