This week has been a little hectic!!
The week began wonderfully! It was my very first Mother's day! I was surprised by an absolutely precious Mother's Day gift from Tanner!! It was a Willow Tree Angel!
I read the card from him first. Reading "my mommy" and "love Tanner" absolutely broke me down! I was so happy!! Then, I opened his gift to me. It was perfect!!
A wonderful day!
The next day, I got an update on Tanner, which said he was a whopping 14.9 pounds! It also said he had pneumonia (which I found out what Vietnam was calling 'pneumonia', is OUR version of a common cold... and on Tuesday, found out that he had fully recovered!) Thursday of this week, I got an email that I was on Step #5! YaY!! It's only a matter of time! It came as such a shock to me. I was expecting an email saying that I was on steps 2-6...but not a definative Step 5!
I catch myself marking off each day. It's a special moment in my day...I guess because I feel like I'm progressing...and that I can physically SEE that I'm closer to my Giving and Recieving of Tanner.
Well, who knows what this next week has in store for me. I'm praying for some new pictures of my little man. And I'd LOVE, and I'm praying that I hear of some travel news for a fellow Vietmom!
