A Great Day!

After a long restless night, I arose to an absolutely beautiful sunrise! I was quite excited for the day. Over the past year, I had heard many talk about Dillon's Day at the Zoo and how cool it was to get to meet people that had adopted or were in various parts of the process.

We explored the zoo for a little bit, all the while I kept thinking that this time next year, I would be there with Tanner...showing him the lions,tigers,and bears (oh my!) for the very first time! I settled happily for enjoying the zoo with Vietmoms, their kids and other people that had adopted from other countries. It was so awesome to hear little Howie say, "Mom! Mom!! Bear!!...cute!!" He's so precious...and growing like a weed!
After the zoo, we spent a little time picnicing at the Pavillion (actually, I opted for a bottle of water and conversation.) I so enjoyed seeing all the children running around, laughing, with smudged food on their faces! Sooo cute!!

Oh, but my most favorite part of the day was a little 'retail therapy'.

Ohhhh, How much fun did I have? This is one of the little outfits I bought him. Precious!! I just wish I KNEW exactly what size Tanner was going to wear when I bring him home...I probably would've bought one of each!
Of course I just HAD to buy this little ball cap!!


Today was a great day!!
