A Time to Listen

I've come to the realization that this stomach bug that I've had over the past few days was God's way of saying, "Slow down, enjoy what I've given you, relax...." As I laid around for the past few days, enjoying the sun flowing through the windows, watching the wind stir through the curtains, listening to the chimes sing outside my kitchen, I listened to God , I mean REALLY listened to Him. I've needed to slow my thinking, slow my heart, slow my mind, slow my body for a while now. Sometimes I think I was going so fast that I forgot to listen to Him. This 'bug' has given me the opportunity to rejunvenate my mind, body, spirit, heart, and soul for this wonderful next stage of my life.
