Frowns and Giggles

It's AGAIN a dreary afternoon...overcast and drizzle. Basically, it's a great day to just close up the windows, light a candle and just veg out! The past couple of days have been the same--and yes, I did said idea!! I didn't feel like facing the world. Call it frustration, or just a down moment, or perhaps just the result of such a dreary day! I keep reading the wonderful emails from friends going through the same process. They are at different points in their adoption processes. The wonderful progress: Finished authentications, updates on Steps, Travel plans! It's all so very exciting!! I'm so so SO happy for each and every one of them! **selfish moment** I WANT MY DANG CALL!!!!!! ok, it's over! I've been needing to get that out for a few days now! --who am I kidding? I've been needing to get that out for a MONTH now!!! I know this won't be my only selfish moment...my only yell of frustration, but I HATE to feel this way! I took my frustrations out on my house...and on my hair! My house got a good old-fashioned spring cleaning yesterday and I searched for clothes to wash! and I decided to 'wash away my gray'! I colored my hair!! I suppose some would say that I went drastic (but those that REALLY know me, know that dark brown IS NOT drastic for me!) I've had every color of red imaginable! Anyway, I just needed a change. My life just needed to be different for a while! Tomorrow is going to be new. I'll wake up, get ready for work, and hold my breath that my phone will ring, and I, too will have wonderful news to share!!!
